   For the last 10 years I have operated a small certified* organic vegetable farm on Blow-Me-Down Brook in Plainfield, NH, selling to the Hanover/Lebanon/WRJ COOPs, local grocers and fine restaurants; and through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program of on farm pickup and workplace deliveries.

   I am committed to the process of growing organic vegetables that are not only free of synthetic chemicals, but are also healthful and have superior flavor.

   After the losses from Hurricane Irene, and even greater and more damaging flooding destroyed all of 2013 production, I have accepted the inevitable and acknowledge that the beautiful bottom land that has been farmed for generations is no longer viable in a changing climate.
